What are the COVID-19 Hero Awards?
The Home of the Brave is the essential part of our national anthem. It signifies our unity, perseverance and courage that we all share with people and countries around the globe as we fight this pandemic. While we remained physically apart, essential workers kept round-the-clock shifts to save lives. Doctors, health providers, nurses, teachers, community organizations and ultimately, everyone who took an initiative to help others were our rays of hope. They are our heroes as we inch toward recovery. As a symbol of hope and love, we have created this dedicated portal to commemorate and celebrate the courage, lives and heroic spirit of those that have been impacted by COVID-19. This Is our small effort to bring us all together to support local charities and those in need with grants and give gratitude to the heroes in our lives.

How To Get Involved
During these uncertain times all of us are in crisis, especially our heroes. Honor them through your voice.
They are your family, your associates, your friends, or maybe just somebody you have heard about.
They are all heroes, each of whom illustrates how one person can make a difference with their efforts and work.
Are they a doctor, a nurse, someone administering tests, or a volunteer who delivers food to those in need? Remember, you do not have to personally know the individual you nominate. They simply need to be someone making a difference in the middle of this worldwide pandemic.
Anyone and everyone are invited to join and share their experiences for the grant opportunities. Whether it is a personal story, a video, a painting, a photo, an article, an ad, or simply a thank you message. You can make a difference just by sharing and nominating.
Here are some recommendations we anticipate will guide you in crafting your nomination for consideration as COVID-19 Hero
♦ Reflect about what makes your hero exceptional. Ask yourself: What makes my nominee irreplaceable? What triumph has he or she achieved that is truly notable? What influence has his or her work had on others?
♦ Look at our nomination form. Review the information requested about your nominee and their work prior to completing your Hero submission.
♦ Tell us about your Hero. Dig deep. Write from your heart. What you share with us—in your own words—is the vital criteria in advancing your Hero for further consideration in the nomination process. Enter your answers directly on the form.
